Hi there! My name is Yuko and welcome to my website. I started this website to help people just like you: people who want to work from home, earn income online, and gain financial freedom.

Teaching is my passion. My heart rejoices when I help people understand something and see their face glow. That’s what I have been doing for my full-time profession for many years. I have been teaching Japanese at college and supported my students to acquire something completely foreign to them. Learning a new language can open up so many doors for you. Many of my former students applied the language skills to their career decisions and some even went to Japan and lived there. I am one such example too. If I didn’t learn English, I wouldn’t be here and writing to you.

Learning about online business is the same. It may seem confusing and overwhelming at first, but once you understand it, it can open up so many doors for you. It could change the rest of your life completely. And I am here to help you with the learning process. 🙂

Why Am I Doing This?

You may be thinking “Being a teacher, why did she start in the online business world?”

Well, it’s true that I love teaching and it has been truly rewarding to see my students’ growth. However, the job does not pay me as much for the work that I put in. I had to increase my teaching load to maintain the level of income I desire, and as a result it has started affecting my personal life. I would end up working all my evenings and weekends instead of spending time with my family. I became constantly tired due to overwork and lack of sleep. Because I was stressed, I could not be very nice to my family (mainly my husband) and feel bad about myself… then, I began questioning myself. “Is this the only way that I can live my life?”

Everyone comes to a turning point in life. I am sure you are at such a moment right now and that is why you are looking for information online. I knew that I had come to the point as well, where a change was necessary and I needed to take action. I knew I needed extra income so that I can reduce my teaching load. But what can I do other than teaching? My quest continued and eventually, I learned there are ways that you can make money on the Internet. This is perfect as I can work from home! Ok, what possibilities are out there? Where to start? I began searching online.

Not Everyone Is Genuine Online…

Apparently as a beginner, I needed some good guidance. Soon I realized that there are tons of programs I can join to learn about online business. Wow, this is great. So many programs I can choose from. Which one should I join?

This is when I stumbled upon an ad for a program that claims to teach you all about online business and “everybody” can be successful with their program. The flashy ad took me to a flashy landing page, but the monthly membership was only $20, so why not give it a try, right? Now, I am sure you can guess the rest of the story… Once I was in, there comes upsell after upsell, and they in the end required me to upgrade to a more expensive plan to fully learn from their program. Of course, I didn’t learn much of anything while I was with that program. A very typical “Get Rich Quick” scam, isn’t it?

You can laugh at me being so naive. Being a complete beginner and having been only in the educational field where nobody tries to “trick” me, I was not aware of scams like this. I was actually shocked to learn that, not only a few but MOST of those programs are not genuine. Their focus is to take money out of you instead of helping you. Once out of my comfort zone, I learned something new. It was not a pleasant experience whatsoever but I don’t regret going through it. Why? Because I can help others (you) better this way.

Not Everyone Is Bad Either

So, does this mean you have to assume everyone is not trustworthy in the online business world? No, that is not true. There are legitimate programs out there as well, and I was lucky enough to come across the best one.  It is called Wealthy Affiliate and I owe everything to this program for me to be here today and writing to you on my own website. If you wish to learn more about the program, you can read my full review.

I found Wealthy Affiliate through someone’s blog. On the blog, the owner reviewed various online programs, both scams and legit ones. The program I described above was listed as a scam. After reading his review, I completely understand why the program was not worth my time and money. I should have known better, but as I said, it was a good learning experience. I began looking at the legit programs he listed and Wealthy Affiliate was one of them. It was actually ranked as the most recommended program to learn about internet marketing. Is this another scam trap…? I was skeptical, of course. But why not give it a try since the blog says Wealthy Affiliate is completely free to try out. Yes, it’s totally free to join and I didn’t have to provide my credit card information. Wealthy Affiliate stands by their program so much that they want you to experience it for free and get a feel for it. I felt this alone shows the program is sincere and trustworthy, so I decided to sign up.

The Spirit of “Pay It Forward”

What happened after I joined Wealthy Affiliate? I was guided step-by-step to build my online business. I was infused with the knowledge and skills that I needed for the success of my business. I made connections with so many mentors, the successful online entrepreneurs with years of experience. You can read all about it in my full review.

But what made me most comfortable and motivated within the program was the spirit of “Pay It Forward.”  Yes, all the members are there to learn how to make money online. But at Wealthy Affiliate, you will never see a flamboyant post saying things like “This member made $6,000 in three months!” that you may see at other programs. Instead, a member may announce his very first sale, and even if it was less than $10, the other members will congratulate him and encourage him to keep going. It gives you the sense of community. You feel that Wealthy Affiliate is the place for real people working really hard.

The owner of the program, Kyle, repeats the concept of “Pay It Forward” in his training. To be successful, you have to help others first. Help others, and the income comes later. Your focus should never be your gain. It should be how you can serve others. So, what you must do on your website is to provide helpful information for the readers. Give them useful tips, answer their questions, and help in solving issues that they may have, within the topic (niche) of your website.

I totally connected with this spirit of Wealthy Affiliate. This is exactly what I have been doing as a teacher. And this is exactly what I am trying to do here as well. I am here to give you helpful tips, answer your questions and help with solving issues you may have. My mission on this website is sharing unbiased reviews to prevent people (especially beginners) from being scammed and also sharing skills for being successful online.

I am here to help. And I would like you to help me too. I need your input to make this website more helpful and meaningful for my visitors. If you have any questions, any topic that you would like me to discuss, any reviews you would like me to do, please let me know. You can leave them below as comments or contact me at yuko@howtomakemoneyonlinefreenoscam.com.

If I could do it, anybody can do it.

Once again, I am Yuko. Thank you for visiting my website.
